Day 1

Saturday PM

Krknjasi, island Drvenik Veli or Milna, island Brac

Normally when chartering a boat you will check in onboard during the afternoon hours (after 5 PM). Together with your skipper, you can choose a perfect bay to spend a night on anchor. No matter which bay you choose, from two suggested, you won’t regret your decision. We recommend to you two bays, either the Caribbean Croatian bay called Krknjasi on the small island of Drvenik Veli or a beautiful bay of Milna on the island Brač.

Drvenik Veli is a small island near Trogir, known for its peace, untouched nature, crystal clear sea and beautiful beaches. The most beautiful beach of all is Krknjasi, located on the south-east coast of the island.

Your other option is the beautiful and calm bay of Milna, on the island Brac. Unlike the other island choice, island Brac is actually the largest island in Dalmatia, and the third largest in the Adriatic. Brac, the island of green nature and beauty, has many secret bays that will leave you speechless. A fun fact to know is that the White House in Washington DC as well as the marvellous Diocletian’s Palace in Split, were actually built with the radiant white stone from this island.

Day 2

From your chosen bay to Maslinica, island Solta

Both recommended bays are a perfect spot for snorkelling and swimming. After having enjoyed a morning swim and lunch on board, you can set our sails to the next island and its charming fishing village called Maslinica. You should try to stay overnight in a private marina that is part of a beautiful hotel called Martinis Marchi. This estate was once a palace, dating from the 17th century, when the three Marchi brothers got permission from the Venetian authorities to build a tower, a village and a church above the bay of Maslinica.

The very thought of pristine nature and Solta’s green and blue oasis will make you eager to treat yourself and stay longer in Maslinica. In that case, look no further than Marchi Martinis hotel. During evening time, don’t miss a chance to taste the chef’s specialities at the hotel restaurant Martinis Marchi.

Day 3

Sailing to island Solta or island Brac

This morning, if you feel energetic enough, you can head out for an early bike ride to explore the island for a bit, perhaps also visiting a local olive oil factory to learn all about olive oil production and taste different olive oils, or maybe you just want to chill on board and have breakfast while sailing. The choice is up to you! Together with your skipper, decide on where to go next - perhaps to island Brac or to discover more of Solta.

Day 4

From your chosen bay to Hvar, island Hvar

We know by now that you will fall already in love with Croatia. Believe us, it’s just getting started. Now, it’s time to go to do something different, something busier with more activity. You should go to one of the most famous places in Croatia - island Hvar. Hvar is the longest and sunniest Croatian island, also known as ‘glitzy and glamorous’ Croatian Saint Tropez, with its many elegant restaurants, hotels and clubs. Hvar is definitely a unique place that allows you to be seen if you wish to be seen or to stay discreet and invisible if you prefer that. Hvar is the perfect place to do some shopping and explore the local cuisine. A great restaurant to visit is Gariful, right on the main promenade.

When in Hvar, you also don’t want to miss a sunset walk and the splendid view of Hvar and its archipelago. This means that you will need to head to the Fortica, the medieval castle that occupies the site of an ancient Illyrian settlement dating from before 500 BC. The views are magnificent.

Day 5

Hvar, island Hvar to Palmizana, Pakleni Islands

Early in the morning, you will head to a stunning small island called Palmizana and the bay of Vinogradisce. This bay is perfect to enjoy watersports, swimming and sunshine. Renowned for the absence of traffic and extensive trails, you can relax here with no worries.

Palmizana’s richness comes from the Meneghello family, whom for over one hundred years has been devoted to creating a paradise of cultural tourism. When in this bay, you must have lunch at the Meneghello’s restaurant art gallery that is amazingly located within the botanical garden. If you are a seafood lover, don’t disappoint us by ordering something other than Palmizana gregada - a heavenly seafood stew prepared with the freshest catch of the day, scampi, lobster, potatoes, white wine and olive oil - all cooked on an open fire. It is worth mentioning is that people sail to this island just to taste this dish. It is necessary to pre-order this dish, so please let your skipper know ahead of time if you wish to try this delicious Croatian specialty.

Day 6

Modra Spilja (Blue Grotto), island Bisevo & Komiza, island Vis

You will have an early morning start and sail to the amazing Blue Grotto, only a few miles from the island Vis. Blue Grotto is a waterlogged sea cave located on the island of Bisevo. The grotto is one of the best known naturally beautiful spots on the Adriatic. You will be amazed by its glowing blue light from below as you float around in a small boat in awe and wonder.

Just after visiting the grotto, let your captain choose the best bay for a lunch and swim. In the afternoon, you can head back to Komiza on island Vis, the farthest inhabited island from the Croatian mainland.

Tonight’s culinary adventure on your list should be a visit to a family farm and restaurant. Roki's is famous for its under the bell dishes. There is something for both meat and seafood lovers: delicious octopus, veal, chicken and lamb cooked with potatoes. Why not to try both, paired with Roki’s homemade wine and tasty local homemade cakes?

Stiniva, island Vis to Split

There is no better way to finish your sailing adventure than by visiting one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in all of Europe - amazing Stiniva beach, a true wonder of nature. Actually, Stiniva is currently voted as the number one beach in Europe. Stiniva is almost completely obscured from the view of passing boats and its inaccessibility is part of its allure. You can reach this stunning beach only by boat or by hiking down a steep and narrow path. Luckily enough, you are with a boat - winning! Talk to your skipper about when is the best time to head back; if there is enough time, you might stop by another bay for a swim and lunch before refuelling in Milna.
